Dohmeyer – CryoXpert 3D Animation

The key processes of Dohmeyer's CryoXpert controlled rate freezer happen out of sight, inside a closed machine: controlled air circulation, cryogen dosing, a precise freezing curve and access to individual samples. The task was to turn this cryogenic technology into a two-minute story that is easy to follow without oversimplifying the product.

We began by analysing how the device works and, with the Dohmeyer team, chose the features that matter most to users. We then wrote the script and built a 3D previsualisation that leads the viewer from the machine's exterior to the processes inside it. The animation shows the controlled freezing process and the carousel system that lets the operator retrieve one sample without exposing the whole batch to room temperature. We worked in Autodesk Maya and Houdini.

The film combines technical visualisation, product storytelling and CGI, turning hidden engineering into a clear product story.
