Polymer Clips are small medical clips designed for precise procedures, where effectiveness depends on detail: the shape, the serrated structure, the way the clip works with the applicator and how securely it sits on tissue. At this scale, live-action film could not show the product's construction and advantages clearly or consistently.
3D animation let us direct attention to what matters: a product comparison, use in the clip applicator and the application on tissue itself. In this refreshed version we avoided visual effect for its own sake and focused on the product's function and its practical use in a clinical setting. We animated in Autodesk Maya and finished in After Effects.
The result is a precise communication tool in which 3D is the main language of the product story, showing a small object up close and guiding the viewer through the whole procedure.
