[01] 2D Animation

2D Animation and Motion Design

For teams that need to explain something complex, launch fast, or animate a brand story without a camera crew - motion design built for web, social and presentations.

[03] Why 2D

When 2D beats live action or 3D

2D animation is the fastest route from a script to a finished film. There is no shoot to schedule, no location to book and no actor to cast - just a story, a style and a voice, built and animated on screen. That makes it the right tool when you need to explain an abstract idea, a process or a piece of software that cannot be filmed, when the budget or timeline will not stretch to a live shoot or a full 3D build, or when the brand simply calls for a more graphic, illustrated look. We work across explainer films, motion design, kinetic typography and animated infographics with rigged characters, matching the style to your brand rather than reusing a template. The result ships faster and costs less than photography or 3D, without looking cheap.

What we deliver

[01]

Explainer films with voiceover, 60-90 seconds

[02]

Motion design and brand animation for social and web

[03]

Kinetic typography videos for quotes, reports and announcements

[04]

Rigged character animation for recurring explainer series

[05]

Animated infographics turning data and reports into video

[06]

Looping animated graphics for presentations and trade show screens

WHEN ANOTHER FORMAT IS A BETTER FIT

Motion does not have to live only online. 2D animation can become part of the physical event experience - on stage screens, projectors and live-streamed presentations. Streamvision takes care of the live-production side when those assets need to perform in real time.

[06] Process

From script to animation, in four steps

[01]

Script and storyboard

We turn your brief into a script and a storyboard, so you can see the story and pacing before a single frame is animated.

[02]

Style frames

We design key style frames to lock the look - colour, typography and character design - before full production starts.

Approval gate
[03]

Animation

Once the style is approved, we animate the full film, add voiceover or music, and send you a draft cut to review.

[04]

Revisions and delivery

You get a set number of revision rounds on the draft cut, reviewed directly via Dropbox Replay for easy feedback, followed by final files in every format and ratio your channels need.

[07] Tools and specs

Design and animation in Adobe After Effects and Illustrator, character rigging in After Effects or Cinema 4D, sound design and mix in Adobe Audition.

Formats

Delivered as H.264 or ProRes masters in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, at up to 4K UHD resolution, with source After Effects project files on request.

Frame rate

Animated at 25 or 30fps as standard, matching broadcast or web playback, with source assets built at full resolution for future re-edits.

Voiceover

Studio-recorded voiceover in Polish and English, with lektor-style narration, subtitle files and a licensed music track included in every delivered version.

Revisions

Two rounds of revisions are included after the style-frame approval and after the draft cut; further changes are scoped and quoted separately.

[08] FAQ

2D animation - questions we get asked

Two rounds of revisions are included, one after the style-frame stage and one after the draft cut, so changes to look and pacing happen while they are still cheap to make. Further changes after that point are scoped and quoted separately.

We record studio voiceover in Polish and English on daily basis, with voice over style narration and subtitle files included. Additional language versions can be recorded or licensed on request, which is useful if the same explainer needs to run across several markets.

Yes - we design style frames from your brand guidelines before animating anything, so colour, typography and character design match your brand rather than reusing a generic template. You approve the style frames before full production starts, which is when most of the visual decisions are made.

A typical explainer film takes 3-5 weeks from script approval to final delivery - script and storyboard first, then style frames, then full animation. Character rigging or a longer running time adds to the schedule, so we confirm timing once the script and style are agreed.

Pricing depends on length, style complexity and whether characters need rigging for reuse. As a guide, a 60-90 second explainer typically runs EUR 3,000-7,000, with kinetic typography and simpler motion design pieces often lower. Rigged character series cost more upfront but less per additional episode.
