A 45-second 3D film for EGZOTech's Luna EMG rehabilitation robot, following signals from neurons and muscles into movement to show the idea behind it.

Luna EMG is a rehabilitation robot built around an idea that cannot be seen. Electromyography picks up even faint bioelectrical signals from the patient's muscles, and the robot responds by supporting the movement, reinforcing the neural connections that rehabilitation depends on. Rather than a product film that lists functions, we set out to visualise the idea behind it.
The animation starts at the level of neurons and electrical impulses, moves through muscle activation and EMG signals, and only then reveals Luna. Light and colour carry meaning: they stand for information travelling through the system, and the robot's coloured illumination turns an invisible biological process into something tangible. We handled the creative concept, art direction, 3D animation and post-production in Autodesk Maya and Cinema 4D.
The result is less a device demonstration than a cinematic interpretation of its purpose: technology that listens to the body's intention to move.
