A 20th anniversary film for QBL Systems, the Polish maker of ski and bike rental lockers, shot in Poland, Austria, Italy and Slovakia.
QBL Systems is the Polish leader in deposit lockers for ski and bike rentals and a supplier of fittings for sports shops. The company grew out of the passion of its founder, Wojciech Śliwka, a former Polish mountain bike champion, and for its 20th anniversary it wanted a film about the business and the people behind it.
We knew the client well: our sister studio Husarska designed QBL's rental and ski-service equipment and its lockers, so we understood the factory and could add 3D product animation. At the company event in Wisła a cumulonimbus brought a sudden downpour, and we got the shots at the last moment. We then filmed QBL installations in Hochgurgl and Kühtai in Austria, and interviewed hotel owners Lucas Scheiber and Olympic medallist Michael Tritscher.
The result is a 2:40 anniversary film shot across four countries.
